Nearly Back
All I have is MLK day tomorrow and then back to school for MBA Part II: Revenge of the Quants. Our core courses for the spring semester include Economics, Operations Management, and Motivation and Leadership. My "electives" are Quantitative Models in Marketing and Statistical Methods II. They're called electives, but they are not really. I "elected" to take them by applying to the AC Nielsen program.
On the plus side I know what to expect now and I've been busy planning out as much of my semester as I can, setting aside specific times for revision/coursework each day. I felt that in autumn I was spending too much of my time playing catch up after falling behind. Sometimes I succeded, sometimes I didn't. Also on the plus side I won't have to spend anytime interviewing or preparing for interviews. I accepted an internship at Philip Morris USA in the summer so I'll be in Richmond, VA between May and August. There are definite pluses and minuses to it. The one big minus is that I'll be away from Lindsey and the kids for essentially three months. Lindsey may say (and she'd be right to a certain extent) that I was away between September and December. At least last semester I got to see the girls though, even if it was just between the front door and my computer in the bedroom.
Three months in the life of a two and three year old is a long time. I plan on buying a webcam on Tuesday, partly as my brother and my parents now have them, partly for the summer.
