Grammys

I was reading a quite indepth article last week which was exploring why the Grammys are not seen in the same way as the Oscars. The journalist had a whole boatload of reasons ranging from the cultural to the demographic, but I think there is a much easier explanation.

Now I'm not a huge fan of the Oscars, I think that generally it makes too many safe decisions and has missed some classics, particularly genre pieces, but you would never see the nominations for best picture and see the equivalent of this:
