MBA Review Part III

  • 15. Marketing Research
  • 14. Marketing Management
  • 13. Bargaining, Negotiation, and Dispute Settlement
  • 12. Qualitative Based Insights in Marketing
  • 11. Data Analysis and Decision Making

And on to part three. The middle section. And what do these have in common? Well they were all courses I could have done better in IF I hadn't enjoyed them as much as I did. Does that sound weird? Well in each of these classes I found the fundamentals easy, the teachers interesting and fun, and the classroom discussion stimulating. In each I actively enjoyed lectures and looked forward to going to class. All good things, but what it meant was that when called to choose between Marketing Research and Finance, or Negotiations and Experimental Design, the fun class lost out and this found its way to my grades. Each of these could have easily been A's but dropped to AB's. In fact with Data Analysis I know the exact question on the midterm that dropped me over the edge (Something about confidence intervals). AB's are not terrible though and each of these classes has enabled me to move forward significantly as a researcher. Next part, the A's.
